Born and raised in the heart of the Midwest grew up in Wichita, Kansas. She’s always had a strong work ethic, sense of independence and love for people since she was a young girl. She graduated from Wichita Northwest High School in Wichita, KS in May of 2013 and continued her education in Pre-Med studies at Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City, KS obtaining an Associate’s Degree in General Sciences. This is also where she met her husband Tyler Hundley. She became injured during a workout in early 2016 lead her to a chiropractic office visit in Wichita. After being cared for her injury and seeing results herself, it became clear that her true calling in life is to become a family chiropractor to help families the way that chiropractor did for her. After finishing up another year of her undergraduate studies, Gracie was accepted into the Doctor of Chiropractic program at Cleveland University in Overland Park, KS. While in school at Cleveland, Gracie was involved in many different clubs on campus including Kairos Training Community, Family Wellness Club, Female Chiropractic Club, Student ICA, Band of Brothers/Sisters and Knee Chest Upper Cervical Club. She also sustained a work study position in the Registrar’s office and a local chiropractor’s office to have an income while being a full-time student. During this journey at Cleveland, she attended over 50 weekend seminars over those three and a half years to further her expertise and training, which included International Chiropractic Pediatric Association courses, Kairos Training Camps, Women’s Adjusting Seminar, The Tao of Chiropractic, The Upper Cervical Revolution series and many other technique seminars from a variety of Chiropractors from around the world. She also had the opportunity to serve through chiropractic mission work in Ghana, Africa to the Ghanaian community with a group of eight other doctors/students. As a group, they were able to serve over two thousand people within six days! In August 2020 she earned her Bachelors of Human Biology, alongside her Doctor of Chiropractic degree ready to start her next chapter of life serving the Claremore, Ok community with chiropractic. After taking some time off from her career pursuit, she became nationally certified and licensed in February 2022, she started Backwoods Chiropractic out the back her her car doing mobile adjustments until BWC found it’s permanent home.
